For a general portfolio post, the excerpt won’t show on the portfolio page. If a client has offered a testimonial, you can put the testimonial as the Post Excerpt and add the “Testimonial” Tag.
On the Portfolio page, posts with the testimonial tag will show up at the top and have the excerpt shown.
Posts without the tag will show up further down on the page with a slightly different layout.
